How do I book a course?

The simplest way to book is online – select the course that you are interested in and follow the booking process. Alternatively, you can call our event administration team on 01332 254679 or email us at to request a booking form.

I have made a booking. What happens next?

When you make a booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Nearer to the course date, you will receive your course information which will include any pre-course reading material, course timings and venue details.

What should I do if I have any special requirements?

Do you offer in-house training?

I have a suggestion for a course. What should I do?

If there is any training you require that we do not currently offer, please contact us and we will certainly consider it when scheduling our course programme.

What should I do if the event I want to attend is showing as ‘Full’ on the website?

If a date is marked as ‘Full’ on our website please book onto the waiting list and we will advise you if a place becomes available.

I have made a booking, when is payment due?

Payment details and where possible payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Is there funding available to cover my course fee?

Limited funded places may be available for NHS employees. Please enquire through your Line Manager.

How do I pay for a course?

Payment can be made by BACS Transfer, Credit/Debit Card or Invoice. If you wish to pay by card, please telephone the NCORE Office 01332 254979.

Can I substitute a delegate?

If you are unable to attend we welcome a substitute delegate attending in your place at no extra cost provided that we have received payment in full.

I can no longer attend a course date. Can I transfer to a later date?

If you can no longer attend the course, you can be transferred to another course of the same value if you advise us four weeks prior to the course date.

If I cancel my booking, can I have a refund?

Cancellations must be received in writing. A refund of the course fee, less a processing charge of £25, will be made if you cancel your reservation FOUR weeks prior to the date of the course booked. No refunds can be given after this date and you will be liable for full course fees. Full refunds will be given if the organisers cancel the course but the organisers are not responsible for any costs, other than course fees, which may be incurred by attendees (including travel and accommodation costs).

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

A certificate of attendance will be either emailed or presented to you at the end of the course. This certificate can be used for CPD purposes.

Who should I speak to if I have feedback for the course?

We always welcome feedback. You will be asked to complete a short evaluation form at the end of the course. Your feedback will help us to provide the highest quality training possible.
